We are creating a unified UKRI website that brings together the existing research council, Innovate UK and Research England websites.
If you would like to be involved in its development let us know.

8.2 Collaboration

  • STFC expects collaborative research, either in the form of the joint pursuit of research with industry e.g. through IPS, or with similar organisations to be put on a formal footing, for example, through a collaboration and/or exploitation agreement.
  • STFC will not contribute to negotiating exploitation agreements for collaborative research but will require an assurance that an agreement, acceptable to all parties, exists before the research begins.
  • Arrangements for collaboration and/or exploitation must not prevent the future progression of research and the dissemination of research results in accordance with academic custom and practice and the UKRI policy on Open Access.
